This site has been created through my experiences as a survivor of severe childhood abuse who has suffered with many mental disorders and illnesses as depression, anxiety, panic disorder, PTSD amongst other debilitating mental conditions. I would also like to promote a better understanding of Dissociative Identity Disorder, formerly known as Multiple Personality Disorder and guide those who need help and answers but just don't know where to start.

I Candy Little being the only operator of this web site comply with C.O.P.P.A. [Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998] with the new requirements for protecting children's privacy online and understand the FTC's enforcement authority; Therefore I do not collect any type of information from children under the age of 13.

I feel that the best way that we can help our children who are being abused is to offer our support to the care givers who are suffering with their own poor mental health, and to educate them of the psychological help that is available so that they can care for Their children properly.

My message and purpose in developing this web site First and foremost is to touch on issues related to Dissociative Identity Disorder and how our mental health greatly affects our physical health in every way, and to share my thoughts, opinions and theories on such issues as memories, dissociation and mental health amongst many others that I've pondered upon.

I want to emphasize how important it is for the client/patient to be allowed to use prayer in the healing process and in the healing of the mind and body if she/he prefers to do so. I understand the importance of building a support system and how difficult it can be and that is why I have built this web site.

I cannot act as a therapist, physician or a psychiatrist to you but I can listen and act as a friend as I have been doing now for over ten years. I am here to act only as another survivor with D.I.D. who can hopefully help to put you at ease, give you my support and be here for you.
